The Odds

(Written by Chris Prouty)
12:32pm - The Dark Horse. 3-2
Jim Scibek, Son of Scibek, Bryan O'Malley, Matt Pecak
This is the danger team. They could very easily get the early lead and never be seen again. A couple key contributions from the young Scibek and glory could call.

12:40pm - Boomer and the Mysteries. 20-1
Mike Pecak, Joe Stauder, Jerry Brankin, Eric Burns
Brankin brings it with every drive. What will his teammates bring? Eric Burns, three time champion, will bring the steady hand of the veteran.

12:48pm - Run It Back. 10-1
Pat Collins, Pat Kleszynski, Bill Brumett, Craig Ganter
Supposed contenders last year, they fell apart early and never recovered. But the fire of belief still burns!

12:56pm - Nothing But Love. 400-1
Tom Melzl, Buddy Lee, Paul Del Aguila, Chris Marinelli
A veritable United Nations of awesomeness, this team is all about the love. Which is good, since the golf... well, the less said about the golf the better.

1:04pm - That is a Spicy Bloody! 25-1
Darren Tait, Jeff Cohn, Karl Krewenka, Mark Moroney
Three of the best Beer players ever and a ringer. They will finish middle of the pack then kick everyone's butt in 3v3 at the after party.

1:12pm - Lightning in a Bottle. 12-1
Chris Marzec, Mike Wysockey, Justin O'Reilly, Mark Menacho
Getting separated from JP's whiskey flask might be the trick Marzec needs to break his BO duck. He has three high-variance players to help carry the load. If the stars align, look out...

1:20pm - That Bell Cannot Be Un-Rung! 2-7
Jim Gotti, John Prouty, Todd Weiss, Chris Prouty
The target is firmly placed on their backs. The brothers are united in the BO for only the second time ever. John Prouty is going for the never before accomplished Double PBM-BO. Can anything get in their way? Just themselves.

1:28pm - Winning Percentage. 5-1
Roger Rhomberg, Jim Diskin, Tom Canepa, Mike Donlin
Total number of Beer Open appearances total? 8. Total number of Beer Open Championships? 5. And now they have the silky game of Rhomberg to bring it all home. Could win it running away.

1:36pm - Dynasty in the Making? 1000-1
Beh Afshar, Bubba Zeiser, Greg Bradley, Dan Dodson
This has been the year of long-shot champions. Cleveland, Leicester City, Kansas City... Did it all start with the boys from TNT bringing home the silverware last year? I say yes. Will they repeat? Not a chance.
